Will Lotrimin Spray Cure a Yeast Infection in My Underarm?
I was on antibiotics for a sinus infection adn suddenly I’ve got this strange irritation in my underarms, mostly my right one. My mother in law saw it and immediately said it was yeast, she was 100% sure (she gets them whenever she goes on antibiotics). She said the docs can give me some meds to take care of it, but I don’t have health insurance and my ‘last’ trip to the docs cost me enough money. Are there any natural remedies for this kind of yeast infection? Will my boyfriend’s Lotrimin Aerosol spray work on this? THX

I would go to the pharmacy and buy some Monistat 7 cream and the store brand works the same and cost less. Apply it twice a day to the area and it should clear up in 3 to 5 days. I would not use the aerosal spray as that has alcohol in it and can burn.
I wouldn’t use the aerosol spray, the underarm is a very sensitive skin area. I would go to the nearest pharmacy and ask the pharmacist if he or she has any ideas for over the counter stuff for it.
Yes, it is posible. Also, eat yogurt – it will replenish the healthy bacteria in your body that the antibiotics killed off and prevent diarrhea and vaginal yeast infections usually associated with antibiotic use. I don’t know if the yogurt will help your skin infection, but it won’t hurt it.
Monostat 7 will kill a yeast infection …It will even get rid of ring worm so why wouldn’t it work under your arm pits??? I would get some and try it …seriously!!!!!!!
