how can I treat male yeast infections?
natural cures for yeast infections?
Best cure for a yeast infection. GO.?
This is my first time. I’m a bit nervous here… I know it happens to everyone and it’s common but yeah… I’m a bit thrown. There’s no manual or anything. (I WOULD ALSO LIKE A RECOMMENDATION FOR A GOOD BOOK ABOUT VAGINAS, I FEEL LIKE THERE’S MORE I SHOULD KNOW ABOUT MYSELF)
Anyway. I’ve heard a lot of people have bad reactions to monistat, especially the one-night torpedo. I’m open to something natural, I mean, yeast infections have been around since vaginas have been… right? So there’s gotta be a natural way to deal with this … mess. Help. Please.
Yeast infection during pregnancy worse after first treatment?
I went to the doctor yesterday because of excess discharge. She said it was just a yeast infection and to use the 7 day OTC treatment. As soon as I used it discomfort set in. I had no other symptoms until I used the medication and now I’m going crazy.
I’m going to continue using it until I’m done with the treatment, but I’m worried about this infection during my pregnancy. Is it dangerous to my baby? Could the OTC medication be making it worse?

Can you use yeast medication if you only think you have yeast? And what is the best approach to take…?
Well, I’m a little embarrassed that I have to ask one here…
But my own mother didn’t know how to answer me.. :/
And I’m putting off the doctor’s visit…
I know what yeast infections are like. Unfortionatly, I usually don’t know I have one till it’s hitting full force and burning and itching. The last two weeks I’ve been on two antibiotics for a stomach bacteria… Tetracycline and Flagyl… The flagyl has been bothering my stomach and digestive system and is a very strong antibiotic when in comparison to tetracycline. I KNOW I get yeast when I take antibiotics. When I eat yogurt, it sometimes prevents it.. I’ve been eating one to two a day… Most days :/.. I forget sometimes..
Anyway.. A couple days ago I had this "weird feeling"… Today I notice a bit of itching.. Nothing crazy and no burning…
Could this be the start of a yeast infection?
I figure I will go ahead at treat it with OTC medication… I recently had to switch to a new doctor due to change in insurance.. But I definately am not comfortable talking about it with him.. I know that’s what he’s there for, but ya know :/.. I don’t want to be "checked" when i could purchase something from the store to fix the problem…
But is it bad to use a OTC if it ends up not being one? Btw, there is no chance it is an STD. My other doesn’t have any and has been checked, and I don’t sleep around.
Also, last time I got OTC medicine for yeast I got the cheapest one that had to be used for 7 days, and it didn’t work.. I ended up at the doctors office.
Is there a specific kind that works best, and is likely to do the trick?
Does it help if I catch it earlier?
How much will this medication cost? Roughly?
Side affects?
How often does this actually work and treat it?
I’m sure I have other questions I can’t think of right at the moment, so anything extra is appreciated…
I’m a little freaked out about this whole ordeal. So ANY information will be helpful, and will hopefully calm my nerves.. I’m a bit of a high-strung person anyway… And when I feel that something wrong could be happening to my body, it freaks me out. I’m sure it freaks anyone out tho…
But thank you before hand!
