Is Yeast Infection Fatal?
I don’t know if I have one, but i have yellowy-green discharge and i mean sometimes there is so much that it soaks through. There are these weird black specs in my discharge too. The smell is horrible, really strong fishy odor, and sometimes I am itchy down there. Also is there a way if i had it that I could treat it without going to the doctor, I have a fear of the doctors and would like to avoid it but I will go if I need to. Is a yeast infection fatal? And I am not sexually active.

If it is that bad, you’ll have to go to the gyno. All the Dr. will do is swab for yeast and in minutes he’ll let you know, then give you and ORAL pill which is MUCH less messy than the OTC yeast infection treatments, and about the same price. You can get OTC meds. and see if you feel better, but you should definately see a Dr. before you misdiagnose yourself when something else could be wrong. If you let a yeast (or any vaginal) infection go too long, I’m pretty sure it can have damaging effects on the reproductive system…
