My 4 year old may have one… I’m already doing the probiotics (lactinex and organic yogurt) but I’m interested in doing more… especially anything topical to help with her discomfort.
mossbreaker… this is for my 4 yr old, so it must be external/topical!! but I’ll keep it mind if I ever get one ;)

Over The Counter Yeast Infection Treatments?

Is it safe to use OTC yeast infection treatments while pregnant? Been calling the doctor for 2 days with no reply. Left several messages.
I do know the difference between yeast infections and other medical problems. I have yeast and bladder infections with my other pregnancies. I just always had a better doctor then I have now.(moved to a different town after my last child was born)
There is a new doctor coming in Aug that I will be switching to. Right now this is a one horse town when it comes to pregnant women.

Can I Use Two Yeast Infection Treatments In a Row?

I used the Target brand of the monostat 3 day treatment and I still have quite a bit of external itching. I finished it on Tuesday. Is it ok to use another treatment pack so soon? I’ve had yeast infections before and they’ve cleared up with the 3 day treatments. I hate to go to the Dr. because I will get charged. Has anyone tried this?
I couldn’t get into the article on that website.

Yeast Infection Treatments While Trying To Concieve?

I am on cycle day 12 and I have a yeast infection (stupid thongs!). I am not sure which over the counter med to get. I have used the three day before but I am wondering if anyone has had success with the one day treatment? I usually ovulate day 14 or 16 so I am trying to clear this up before then. Any advice appreciated. Thanks!

(I am sure it is a yeast infection, I have had two before from antibiotic use.)

Does Any OTC Yeast Infection Medication Work?

yeast infection stressIf you get yeast infections on a regular basis, then you have probably tried every yeast infection medication known to man. There are prescription medications, and don’t get me wrong – they do work. But there are a few problems with those. First of all, you don’t always have access to a doctor when you have a yeast infection. Secondly, getting that examination can be embarrassing. And, don’t forget that the medications can be expensive and they are usually messy to use.

Over-the-counter (OTC) yeast infection medications are easier to obtain, of course, but they usually don’t work as well. They are equally messy, of course, and can really limit how you live your life. Lotions and creams, although they may temporarily relieve the itch, can cause leakage and staining.

So, how do you go about choosing a yeast infection medication?

1.     Find one that is available without a prescription, and inexpensive.

2.     Choose one that is not messy. Lotions and creams are a hassle.

3.     A good product is one that not only gets rid of the symptoms, but prevents future breakouts.

One over-the-counter medication that fits the bill is Yeastrol.

YeastrolUnlike almost all other medications, it is not a cream or a lotion. In fact, you don’t put it on the affected area at all! With just a few sprays under the tongue, the medication quickly enters your bloodstream and starts to relieve all of the symptoms of a yeast infection.

So, yes over-the-counter medications can work to get rid of a yeast infection, but you need to be sure to choose the right one. Choose one that is made from natural ingredients, natural cure for yeast infection and doesn’t tie you down to applying lotions and creams. A yeast infection is a nasty little infection, and the sooner you get rid of, the better your life will be!

Click Yeastrol and check it out.
